Cloudmersive Reverse Proxy server security policies can be conditionally applied. By default, security policies apply to all traffic. To limit application to only specific requests, you can configure the URL Match Regular Expression setting. This is a regular expression (regex) that when it matches the fully-qualified URL, activates the policy, otherwise deactivates it.

As an example, if you specify the following expression:

/upload*

This will only apply the policy if the URL matches this expression where * indicates a wildcard of 0 or more characters of any type. If the URL does not match, then the policy will not be applied.

Be sure to align the conditional application with your security goals to ensure that all needed URLs are covered.
